Shake and serve with a tall glass of Pepto Bismol, and you may get something as enigmatic and destabilizing as Welcome To Drainland’s Abduction, Vol.1.

The new release is flavoured with pungent confusion, despair and possible delirium.

The track features an unrelenting lo-fi vocal performance, which delivers dark personal reflections:

“Dreaded Anxiety, in your direction, you think there’s got to be a casual correction. The sense of urgency in your reflection, you look but you can’t see a natural connection.”

This new work by Welcome to Drainland could mean anything. It could be projecting an inventive nightmare simulation. It may even be the harbinger of our possible abduction by extraterrestrials.
